The Dryer Ate My Sock

Don't you hate that when that happens? It's inevitable... the dryer will always get a sock. You never know when it's going to happen, it just will.

Even more hateful, is when your house develops a black hole. Things go missing with no trace. To date, we are missing a shoe, an entire box of markers and a cordless telephone. Yep, that's right... an entire hand set is missing. How the heck does that happen? And where could it possibly be? I do have an idea of who might be responsible though.

But did we find the infamous Dora shoes? Had a great time yesterday!
Wish the dryer would eat all of my laundry so I wouldn't have to do it again!

we have a basket full of single socks... someday, i hope that they'll get matched up together again with their mates. our dog doesn't help, though, because he LOVES wool socks.

socks? whatchu mean, socks? i'm an arkansas girl myself, and if you don't wear 'em, they don't get lost! just kidding. what is it with the socks, though? never a pair of jeans, or underwear. never a child, not that i put them in the dryer or anything like that in case my computer is being monitored...

We had the same problem when we were in Monterey. We figured we had a ghost in our house that kept taking things. I mean, that was before we had kids, so the kids didn't take the stuff. You don't live in the Fort Ord housing do you?
