Happy Halloween!

I'm a little behind, but I'm sure you can all forgive me, right? We had a great time this Halloween. We live in a fabulous neighborhood where everyone decorates and they go crazy. We have one guy who digs graves in his yard. It is so cool to walk around here. Lots of the locals actually come to our neighborhood to trick-or-treat. We walked past someone who was talking about how nice it was to come here and that it's so safe. And I started thinking about how really nice it is to live here. The safeness of this place could be that it is a military community; we have every branch represented, as well as every specialty. And most people here have kids. So combining a highly trained soldier with a protective parent, makes one potent combination. Anyway, I am rambling. Bring on the pictures.

Batgirl and Supergirl. Batgirl's mask went missing so I had to improvise with water-proof mascara. Crisis averted... pain in the butt to wash off.

Here is the gang that we went trick-or-treating with.

After our dinner of Halloween pizza. How cool. I love Papa Murphy's.

KK and her boyfriend getting the hang of things.

e and her best friend from school, M.

This little bug took a break from singing Barbie's Princess and the Pauper to say 'cheese'.

This picture doesn't nearly capture how many people were out trick-or-treating.

And of course, you need one of these rides so you can eat your candy with no hitches.

Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!

great pictures but what happened to supergirl? There seemed to be a cheerleader.

Excellent pics. I miss those days of trick-or-treating!

Yeah, she decided she didn't like being supergirl but I made her be it so I could take a picture of the two super heroes.

Still missing photos of Wonder Woman and Captain America. Heard they were at the party we joined vicariously. Halloween is most definitely for the young. Many memories of school Halloween joys and traumas. Nothing academic happens with the sugar highs before and after Halloween.
E, do you remember a box of TP and lost friends on Halloween?
